Finishing Options Explained

We offer several finishing styles so you can choose the best option for how you plan to display your banner. Each finish affects how the banner looks and how it can be fixed or hung. Here's what each option means in simple terms:

Hemmed & Eyeletted

This is the most popular and recommended option. The edges of your banner are folded and stitched (hemmed) to make them stronger and prevent tearing. Then we add metal rings (eyelets) evenly spaced around the edges so you can hang or tie your banner using cable ties, rope, or hooks. We normally place one eyelet per metre, but if you'd like them closer together or in specific positions, just let us know when you order.

Hemmed Edges Only

Choose this if you want a clean and reinforced edge but don't need any holes. We hem all sides to make the banner stronger and neater but no metal eyelets are added. Ideal if you're going to mount the banner in a frame, attach it with clips, or use your own fixing method.

Pole Pocket(s)

Perfect if you want to hang your banner on a pole or across a frame. We add a loop (pocket) along the top, bottom, or sides so a pole or rod can slide through it. This keeps the banner straight, tight, and professional looking. Just tell us the diameter of your pole or fitting and we'll make the pocket the right size so it fits perfectly.

Trimmed to Size

With this option, your banner is simply cut to the exact size you ordered — no hems, no eyelets, just clean edges. It's ideal if you plan to mount the banner onto a flat surface or board, or use your own fixing method.

Trimmed with Eyelets

This option is similar to Trimmed to Size but includes metal eyelets spaced evenly around the edges. There's no hemming, but the eyelets make it quick and easy to hang or tie your banner wherever you need it. It's a simple, cost-effective finish that still gives you flexibility.
